About Me

As a private home organizing consultant, I help my clients rediscover what brings them joy, redefine their relationship with “stuff”, and reclaim both physical and mental space.

I act as a guide (or “personal trainer”!) through each step of the organizing process. As a Certified KonMari® Consultant, I tailor Marie Kondo’s proven organizing method to meet you where you are and help you see your space with fresh eyes. My role is to bring the process, which alleviates stress and decision fatigue, and be a friendly accountability partner to ensure we get the job done – together.

Decluttering is an enormous task, and the longer it’s left undone, the bigger and scarier the project will feel.

I’m here to help you tackle it once and for all, so you can enjoy the ease, freedom, and flexibility that’s waiting for you on the other side.

About KonMari

The KonMari Method is a simple but effective tidying method created by Marie Kondo, bestselling author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.

The guiding principle: Keep what sparks joy!

Instead of getting bogged down in what you “could” or “should” discard, we’ll work together to discover and highlight the items that truly speak to you.

The result is a calmer, lighter, and more inviting home that honors your past, supports your future, and sparks joy at every turn.

  • “Keep only those things that speak to your heart. Then take the plunge and discard all the rest.”

― Marie Kondo, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing

  • “The question of what you want to own is actually the question of how you want to live your life.”

― Marie Kondo, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing

  • "The true goal should be to establish the lifestyle you want most once your house has been put in order.”

FAQs

  • Sessions typically run 3 hours at $200 per session. This timeframe provides enough time to make meaningful progress while maintaining focus and energy. I've found that shorter sessions often don't allow for substantial transformation, while longer sessions can be mentally exhausting. I do offer extended sessions beyond three hours at an hourly rate if needed.

  • The number of sessions I recommend varies depending on several factors: the size of your space, the volume of items, how many areas you want to tackle, your decision-making pace, and how much “homework” you're willing to complete on your own between sessions. At one session per week, most clients work with me over 6-12 months for a full-home tidying project.

  • Your organizing journey begins with a complimentary 1-hour consultation by video call (Google Meet). We’ll chat through your specific challenges, goals, and vision for your space, as well as any key dates such as an upcoming move. I'll ask about your lifestyle, daily routines, and which areas are causing the most stress. This conversation helps us determine if my organizing services are the best fit for you.

  • Yes. Only you can make decisions about your belongings, and this is when you learn organizing techniques and systems. Organizing is a personal process that requires focus and works best one-on-one. For this reason, it's strongly recommended that spouses, children, and other members of the household not be present during sessions unless specifically planned otherwise.

  • Nope. Every decision about your belongings is yours to make. My role is to guide you through the decision-making process and help you think through what truly serves your current lifestyle, but you always have the final say about what stays and what goes. I guide, you decide.

  • I serve clients in Cleveland and the surrounding west side communities, including Lakewood, Rocky River, Westlake, Bay Village, Avon, and nearby areas. Visits outside of this area include additional travel fees.

  • No. I typically recommend working with your existing storage first, then I'll recommend specific products only after we understand your needs. This approach saves you money and ensures any purchases I suggest will actually suit your space.

  • No. Light cleaning is fine, but don’t stress about how things look at the start. We will work through the process together one step at a time.

  • Yes! I work with clients who are downsizing, whether you're moving to a smaller home, helping aging parents transition, or simply wanting to live with less. The KonMari Method® is especially effective for these situations because it helps you thoughtfully evaluate what truly matters to you before making decisions about what to keep. I'll guide you through the process with compassion and practical support, making what can feel overwhelming much more manageable. My goal is to help you move forward with only the items that support your next chapter.

  • This is one of the most common concerns I hear! I recommend starting with your personal belongings and spaces. When your partner sees how much easier daily routines become and how much more peaceful organized spaces feel, they often become curious about the process. I find the benefits tend to speak for themselves.

  • Organizing tends to be most effective as a one-on-one experience with minimal distractions. However, there are certain categories where it is appropriate to involve family members, and I am happy to provide guidance for those conversations.

  • The KonMari Method® is a tidying philosophy developed by Marie Kondo that focuses on keeping only items that "spark joy" in your life. Rather than organizing room by room, I guide you through the process category by category (clothes, books, papers, komono/miscellaneous items, and sentimental items). The method emphasizes gratitude for your belongings and creates a mindful approach to deciding what stays in your home.

  • As a Certified KonMari Consultant™, I've completed extensive training through Marie Kondo's official certification program. This means I've learned the authentic KonMari Method® directly from the source, understand the philosophy behind the process, and know how to guide you through the emotional aspects of tidying. I'm part of an exclusive network of consultants worldwide who are authorized to teach this specific method.

  • The KonMari Method® is unique because it focuses on what to keep rather than what to discard. I help you develop your ability to recognize what truly brings you joy, which becomes a valuable life skill beyond organizing. The method also follows a specific category order that's designed to help you refine your decision-making abilities as we progress. Additionally, I teach you Marie Kondo's special folding techniques that maximize space and help you see everything you own at a glance.

  • Not quite! While joy is the primary criterion, I help you understand that some items serve important practical functions in your life. For example, cleaning supplies might not spark joy when you hold them, but they allow you to maintain a clean home, which does bring you joy. I guide you through understanding the difference between items that spark joy directly and those that support a joyful life.

  • I work with anyone feeling overwhelmed by their belongings - busy families, working professionals, seniors, people going through life transitions like moves or new babies, and those who simply want to feel more in control of their environment. I also assist small business owners with both home offices and commercial spaces, and I love teaching organizing skills to children.

  • I expect most organizing projects to require multiple sessions, and that's completely normal. Each session I plan builds on the previous one, and the skills you learn early in our process help you work more efficiently in later sessions. I provide guidance for maintaining momentum between visits and I can adjust our plan based on your progress and evolving needs.

  • No. However, I do teach how to maintain your organized spaces so they stay functional and peaceful long-term.

  • My clients report reduced stress and anxiety, easier daily routines, more time for activities they enjoy, and a greater sense of control over their environment. Practically speaking, I help you spend less time looking for things, make mornings smoother, create a more welcoming home for guests, and become more thoughtful about future purchases. I find that many people discover that organizing their physical space helps clarify their priorities and goals in other areas of life too.
